BIDMC ED Quality & Management Fellowship

The Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC) Fellowship in Emergency Department Quality & Management prepares emergency medicine (EM) physicians to become effective emergency department managers and leaders in their home departments. Develop expertise in:

  • Quality improvement and patient safety

  • ED operations

  • ED staff training and/or residency program development

  • Essential management and leadership skills


International CME Courses

Our department offers live and virtual CME courses to international physicians through our Institute for Emergency Department Clinical Quality Improvement. Our courses are designed to help emergency medicine clinicians develop the individual and departmental clinical decision-making skills and quality assurance practices they need in order to deliver high-quality care to patients.
